Open galleries are projects developed in public spaces that transform the meaning of a street by adding cultural value. They encourage public access to quality exhibitions, free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The open gallery on García Roel Avenue is an exhibition space for the dissemination and promotion of visual arts in public spaces.
The selection of themes, setup, programming, and event organization is done in collaboration with an external partner (currently in collaboration with FEMSA Collection and Laboratorio Arte AC) and coordinated by DistritoTec.
