Wall textÅbo Akademi: Musicology 1968–2012 and Art History 1968–1987
When the current Sibelius Museum building was opened in 1968, the museum didn’t move in alone. Art History within Åbo Akademi worked in the building until 1987, and Musicology did the same until 2012. The building had spaces for education as well as offices for staff. After the discipline departments moved out, the spaces have been acquired by the museum.
