6. Blue Villas Cafe & Art Cafe Taideterassi
Turn left here and cross the bridge, as there is the Sininen Huvila Café and the Art Terrace Café in Linnunlaulu.
Now is a good time to sit down for a bit and treat yourself to something delicious. I'm really craving some coffee. There's a really cute little coffee kiosk further back. We could stop here for a refreshing homemade drink. Everything here is made with respect for Finnish ingredients.
And from here, you can see across the bay, all the way to the Finlandia Hall. Yes, and to the right, there is also the Art Terrace Café. You can go inside there if the weather is bad, and at the same time, you can experience the authentic old Helsinki.
There used to be 15 of these villas, and they were all summer cottages. This building was built back in 1898, according to the drawings of master builder Michelsson.
I could definitely go for some ice cream right now. Our journey now continues towards the Cradle of Sports in Helsinki.
