Joutsa Sports Field

The full-size, paved sports field in Joutsa—often referred to as the town’s “sports shrine”—was completed in 1984 and includes facilities for all track and field events. The track surfaces were renewed in 2017 and repaired in 2020. A grandstand built along the home straight in 2020 can accommodate a large number of spectators.

An asphalt track runs around the outside of the field, suitable for activities such as roller skiing, inline skating, and wheelchair mobility.
