Ski track

Tuusniemi Municipality maintains good-quality cross-country ski trails in the Lautala outdoor recreation area (approximately 2.75 km) and near the school center (approximately 1 km). The aim is to keep the trails open every weekday during the morning, if weather conditions permit. In addition, a trail is built on the ice of Juojärvi in ​​winter from the harbor around Pahkasalo Island (10 km), if ice and snow conditions permit. (The decision to build ice trails is made depending on weather conditions.)
