Hyyppäänvuori
Hyyppäänvuori is a magnificent and unique hiking destination in Central Finland. Rising 160 meters above the deep valley below on the southwestern shore of Lake Lievestuoreenjärvi in Laukaa, the mountain offers breathtaking views across the lake, its islands, and the surrounding forests. Hyyppäänvuori is often referred to as the “Koli of Central Finland.”
Shaped into its present form during the Ice Age, the summit of Hyyppäänvuori features a scenic lookout point, weather-shaped pine trees, ancient deadwood pines, and a protected managed forest area overseen by Metsähallitus.
The terrain is demanding, with steep slopes that can become slippery when wet, so sturdy footwear with good grip is essential. Due to the challenging terrain, the destination is not suitable for visitors with limited mobility.
