The swimming area at Markkuu Shooting Range

The swimming area at Markkuu Shooting Range, located in the village of Markkuu, is the municipality’s second official beach. It is situated approximately 9 kilometers from the centre of Tyrnävä, in the direction of Muhos. The beach is equipped with a changing cabin, a campfire spot (bring your own firewood), and a restroom.

In the summer of 2020, the facilities were expanded to include a children’s playground and a 9-hole disc golf course. The swimming area also features a beach volleyball court for visitors to enjoy.
