Description

Wild Mountains presents a colourful collection of lively creatures living in forests, meadows, and mountainous landscapes. Acting as messengers between artist and viewer, these characters carry emotions, stories, observations, and fragments of knowledge. Visitors are invited to meet them, wonder how they are doing, and perhaps even decide which one is the cutest.

The exhibition's paintings have been developed over a two-year period, drawing inspiration from the natural surroundings, seasonal changes, and everyday observations of Järvenpää and Kangasniemi. Combining gentle humour with a supernatural visual language and an unexpected palette of colours, the works explore a wide range of themes through imaginative and approachable imagery.
