Tobias Sergel, portrait of Carl Gustav Af Leopold

The medallion of the Swedish autor and librarian Carl Gustav Af Leopold (1756–1829) is made by the Swedish artist Tobias Sergel (1805). Sergel is a sculptor and draughtsman a central figure in Swedish art during the late 18th century. He is also considered one of the most important sculptors of his time on an international scale.
