The Nordkalott Trail and Halti

The Nordkalott is one of most famous long hikes in Lapland. Its total distance is 800 km, and about 70 km of the trail is in Finland. The Nordkalott Trail is a common route to Halti, the highest fell in Finland. Along the route you’ll see all the over 1000 metre fells in Finland and The Pihtsusköngäs waterfall (called Bihcosgorži in the language of Northern Sámi) one of the tallest waterfalls in Finland.
