Labyrinth
In the window bay on the outer wall is a carving of a labyrinth shape. The exact reason for why this shape has been carved in the wall of the castle is unknown, but it may have to do with protection magic. If the shape is looked at from this point of view, any evil spirits who tried to get into the castle through the window would have been lost in the labyrinth instead. The figure may also have to do with spirituality, since in the Middle Ages the labyrinth shape was also used in churches.
