Description

The Military Museum stores objects and images related to Finland's military and weapons' history and to the different stages of the Defence Forces. The Military Museum has three exhibition locations in Helsinki: Military Museum's Manege, Artillery Manege and submarine Vesikko are all located in Suomenlinna.

In the exhibitions of the Military Museum´s Manege and the Artillery Manege you can familiarise yourself with the history of the Finnish Defence Forces and the wars Finland has fought during its independence. There are also special exhibitions about soldier´s life in Finland and elsewhere and about front line art. Submarine Vesikko is an authentic and rare museum exhibit from the World War II era.
